Form AOC-4, AOC-4 XBRL and GNL-2 were recently revised on MCA21
MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) has notified that “Form AOC-4, AOC-4 XBRL and GNL-2 were recently revised on MCA21 Company Forms Download webpage. Stakeholders are advised to check the latest version before filing.
MCA21 Company Form is an e-Form, in other words, a re‐engineered conventional form and represents a document in electronic format for filing with MCA through the internet. This may be either a form filed for compliance or information purpose or an application seeking approval from the MCA.
Form AOC-4, AOC-4 XBRL and GNL-2
These e-Forms contain a number of mandatory fields which are required to be filled‐in. Certain other fields are non‐mandatory in nature which may be filled‐in as may be relevant in any particular case.
The revised e-Forms are effective from 17th Feb, 2017.
There would be additions and deletions of e-Form, which is of two nature, 1) Immediate Effect and 2) Effect from the Date of Notification.
In the previous revision, considerable amount of modifications were taken place. Additionally, few complaint forms were introduced as like a) Serious Complaint e-Form and b) Investor Complaint eForm. IEPF-1; IEPF-2; IEPF-3; IEPF-4; IEPF-5; IEPF-6
Few e-Forms like 1INV; 5INV; (Investor Complaint Form), were withdrawn.
Similarly, there would be considerable changes which are likely to happen in the new release.
On top of this a revised Instruction Kit is available, which contains the detailed instructions explaining to fill an e-Form. This facilitates proper understanding of the e-Form and filling of requisite details therein.
